A man who sells newspapers is hanging from the back lo jeepney during selling the newspapers to guests. after the selling, he moves to another jeepney and sells the newspapers again.

After the Second World War, When U.S Army withdraw, They left the jeeps, because it was too old. it was the start of a Jeepney to pick up people, which use left car. Covering the roof and tinted it, Jeepney became most famous public transportation in Philippines. now, they operate factory to produce the Jeepney.Ironically, lumps of scrap metal ,which abandoned by U.S Army was like a great gift for Philippines
How to ride a Jeepney
To ride a jeepney,
First, determine your destination.
Second, ask whether to go to uour destination to a driver lo jeepney.
Third, know appearance that is uour destination.
Because desplay information lor annoncer at buses or subways isn't trustworthy. Please look at the surroundings carefully during riding the jeepney. Then, alight from the jeepney at exact location. A place where you board or alight from the jeepney is practiced along respective route
Charge
The Jeepney fare is about 10 Peso (20cent). the additional fare is based on the distance.
A method which you give money to a driver of the Jeepney is unique. if there is no place, is it difficult to pay for drivers? Just give money to sitting man next to you, saying "please". So it will be delivered to drivers. Change also come back again by person.
But do not give too much money for charge. they can say "i have NO exchange" to not provide exchange, intentionally.
